Cambridge, 20 King's Parade

Our shopfront is opposite a 168-year-old chestnut tree and King’s College Chapel. At Trinity College, there is a commemorative apple tree for Isaac Newton, who studied there. The actual tree is still alive and well, is over 350 years old, and is protected by the National Trust.  Chinese visitors come to Cambridge as a bucket-list destination because the Chinese poet Xu Zhimo studied at King’s College and composed “On Leaving Cambridge” in 1928. This poem is taught in schools in China as part of the curriculum, so Cambridge is a revered place for Chinese visitors.
